Indivisible San Mateo: Saturday lunch at Terrace Dining at Hillsdale Mall

Please join Indivisible San Mateo’s Mary Beavins and Rick Moody for conversation and conviviality and a no-host lunch at the Terrace Dining area at Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo on Saturdays, from 11:30 to 12:45 p.m.

The lunch is open to everyone connected with Indivisible San Mateo and will take place prior to our weekly Saturday street protests from 1 to 2:30 p.m., around the corner on El Camino at East 31st Avenue. On the street, we’ll be enjoying not only the very popular music of The Freedom Strummers but also the company of pro-democracy friends and the cacophonous sounds of solidarity from the passing honking horns.

The Terrace Dining area is on the second floor at the north end of the Mall, accessible by escalator and elevator. Our table is across from the elevator in front of the big windows in the northwest corner of the food court.

There’s ample parking at the Mall, lots of seating and lots of lunch options for those dining at one of the places in the food court. The restaurants include Sarku Japan; Tacos E. Grullens; Hakata Kuro Obi Ramen; and Panda Express, among others. Shake Shack is downstairs and there’s a Starbucks nearby.

Reservations are not necessary and all are welcome, whether for lunch or dessert or just fellowship for members of Indivisible San Mateo. All are encouraged to be part of the rally afterward on El Camino around the corner.
