**Join Indivisible PDX D3 and friends on Friday, July 17 for the John Lewis Film Festival.**
This is a great way to kick off the July 17-19 nationwide John Lewis Weekend of Action, *Good Trouble Lives On*. We’ll join countless others across the country to recognize the leadership of Congressman John Lewis, a giant of the Civil Rights movement and the “conscience of the Congress” until his 2020 death.
Many of us know some of his lessons by heart: “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America.”
**The Film Festival on Friday evening, July 17th, is a great opportunity to learn more.** We’ll be showing three films about John and issues close to his heart.
We hope you will join us for great movies with like-minded folks.
– 6:45 pm Doors open
– 7:00 pm Movies begin
– Donations will be taken at the door. Suggested: $10, to help cover costs. **Cash preferred.**
– Refreshments will be available, also for a donation.
– Space is limited to 60. **Please be sure to register in order to reserve your seat.**
– Air-conditioned.
