  • NO KINGS Brentwood, CA

**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.**

What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.

When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.

On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it.

Come join us (Indivisible East Contra Costa County, Rage for Democracy, Marsh Creek Democratic Club) in the activities we have planned for NO KINGS Day on March 28.

This particular event post you are now reading is for one of 5 events planned. You may sign up for this Brentwood event in this post. The other locations are posted separately on Mobilize.us. They are:
Antioch Rally and March 10:30 AM
    Antioch Protest 1:30 PM
    Oakley Protest 1:30 PM
    Pittsburg Protest 1:30 PM
We encourage you to attend our Main event in the morning, take a break and then attend the protest location of your choice. If unable to attend two events, please pick the one that works best for you. Search Mobilize for the location(s) you want to attend.

Brentwood is actually sponsoring two locations, next to each other, but different in nature. One location will be on the Brentwood Pedestrian Bridge over Highway 4 near Costco. Indivisible will have large signs posted on the bridge. Protesters are welcome to brings signs (must be very large to be seen from the bridge), flags, to dress in costume and bring music.
The other Brentwood location is for those people who prefer a closer encounter with people. We will gather at the intersection of Heidorn Ranch Rd and Lone Tree Plaza (this the entrance to Costco from Heidorn Ranch). It will be possible to attend both protests as they are walking distance from each other.

Our goal is to get a turnout of 12 Million people across the Country on No Kings Day. Help us to get there. Let’s make this the largest turnout EVER in America and in East County! Your voices matter. It will take all of us to stop Fascism in our Country.

Parking is available at Costco or in the other parking areas of that shopping center. PLEASE, do NOT leave any trash. Costco has told us we are welcome as long as we remain polite, peaceful and we do not leave a mess behind when the protest concludes.

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
