**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.**
What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.
When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.
On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it.
We will be meeting on Highway 27 in front of the Posner Shopping Center.
Please park by Marshalls & Burlington. DO NOT PARK in First Watch or Panera Bread, as they are kind enough to allow us to do our events in front of their businesses & we don’t want to stop their right to do business.
Be sure to bring water, a chair if needed, feel free to wear your inflatable costumes!!
We will once again be collecting food for the Hope Thrift Store in Davenport. This food bank serves lots of our community who are in desperate need for food. The amount of people they are now serving has increased greatly. If you can provide any amount of meats (hamburger ect) or butter–milk bread ext, please do, as there is so much needed. Also, diapers, baby food, juice boxes are very much in need.
One last thing, as there is a bad cold or new variant of covid, please if you are susceptible to adverse affects on your health, please feel free to wear a mask. There are many other people who come & people are close together.

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
