We are in the final stretch. Democracy is not a spectator sport.
Pick something.
Do something.
Bring someone with you.
Join us to paint VOTE rocks and take them with you to place in high traffic areas around Gaston County. We will have other get out the vote activities as well.
If you want to see change, we need your help to do the work to convince voters to participate in this year’s mid-term election.
Early voting starts on Oct 15 and data shows that once early voting starts, outreach efforts are less effective.
Turnout in mid-term elections is 20% lower than presidential election years (40% vs 60%).
Just because you are motivated to vote does not mean your neighbors are. Poll results are meaningless if the people polled do not show up to vote!
If you truly want to see change, we need your help to motivate our community members to vote!!!
To achieve change, we need to turn out voters who want:
* Funded Public Schools
* Affordable Healthcare
* Affordable Housing
* Fair maps
* Voting Rights
* Fair Taxes
Time for the “Power of the People” to make sure the people in power are working for *us*!
