The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
Join us as we write postcards to folks to pack the room for the upcoming RCLS board meeting on March 16th — we need as many folks as possible to show up for the library board meeting and make it clear to the board that we do NOT support banning books, especially books on marginalized communities like our trans folks!
We are working in collaboration with Rutherford County Library Alliance and the ACLU-TN to invite others to pack the room on March 16th, so join us on March 8th at the Walnut House — 116 Walnut St, Murfreesboro, TN, 37130. Bring your pens and we’ll provide the postcards and stamps!
Street parking should be available, as well as the Rutherford County Judicial Center parking garage. Hope to see you there!
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
