**Rep. Dave Min will join us on Tuesday January 27th, at 11:00am ET.** Representative Dave Min first visited our Zoom in May 2023 when he was a California State Senator, running for Congress in CA-47, a district in the heart of Orange County, California. He visited again when he was running for re-election in September 2024, so this is his third visit, as he prepares to run in the 2026 midterms. Before becoming an elected official, Congressmember Min was a law professor at UC Irvine, where he taught and researched in the area of business law. At that time, he was considered one of the country’s leading experts on banking and housing policy, and testified six times before Congress on these issues. Dave’s basic philosophy of governance is one of long-termism, summed up by this quote from the ancient Greeks: _A civilization is great when its elders plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in_.
