    Join us starting at 9:30am ET to write postcards, talk about the news, and hear from candidates and political leaders. If this is your first time joining this group, please sign on at least 15 minutes before the speaker start time listed below.

    **Ruth W. Messinger will join us on Tuesday March 17th, at 10:00am ET.** Ruth W. Messinger, a social justice consultant, is the Global Ambassador for American Jewish World Service, an international human rights organization which she ran from 1998-2016. Additionally, she teaches not for profit management and leadership at the Jewish Theological Seminary with rabbinic students and for Elluminate with Jewish women social justice entrepreneurs. She is co-chair of the board of the Interfaith Center of New York and in that capacity spends a significant amount of her time on the status and plight of immigrants and asylum seekers in NYC. Ruth is a trained social worker, and previously had a twenty-year career in elected office in New York City. She graduated from Radcliffe College and the University of Oklahoma. She is a member of SAJ-Judaism That Stands for All, also serves as a board member of Aegis Trust, a peace education program in Rwanda.
