**Zephyr Teachout will join us on Friday January 23th, at 10:00am ET.** Zephyr Teachout is a Professor of Law at Fordham Law School, where she focuses on the intersection of corporate power and political power. She is a nationally recognized expert on anticorruption and antitrust law. Her book, Break ’em Up (2020), makes a case for reimagining the relationship between democracy and antimonopoly law. Her public writings have appeared in the New York Times, Foreign Affairs, New York Review of Books, Washington Post, The Nation and The New Republic. She has been a candidate for Governor and Attorney General in New York. She will speak to us about “Antitrust and Anti-monopoly Work and Their Impact on Healthy Food and Water.”
We strive to build community, educate voters, and use our Sharpies to write to save democracy together. Write postcards with us or just join the conversation. If you need help getting started with postcarding, please visit our [FAQ](https://markersfordemocracy.org/postcarding/postcarding-faq).
If you are with the media and want to attend, you must notify us at markersfordemocracy@gmail.com at least two hours before the start of the event. All discussions are off the record.
