Presidents serve the people.
The people do not serve presidents.
*Power of the People* is a Presidents Day protest rooted in a simple truth: in a democracy, power is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Power is not meant to be concentrated in any single office, party, or individual at the expense of dignity.
We gather to affirm:
– That leadership is service, not entitlement.
– That no office outranks human dignity.
– That none of us are free until all of us are free.
– That accountability is not radical — it is democratic.
This is a peaceful, public protest grounded in courage, care, and constitutional truth.
We come together not to celebrate power, but to awaken where it lives — in us.
### Our Commitment
This is a **peaceful, nonviolent public gathering.**
We ask all participants to help maintain a calm, respectful, and grounded presence.
Our strength is in care, courage, and community.
