Join the Registration Repair Project. The North Carolina State Board of Elections has identified over 2,100 voters in Johnston County whose registrations have been identified as incomplete. We are asking for volunteers to work with us to inform these voters that they are on the list by sending letters to each person. Working on Thursday afternoons, we have reached about 600 of these people so far. Our goal is to reach them all before the March primary.
WHERE: The Boardroom at the Smithfield Public Library, 305 E Market St in Smithfield
WHEN: Thursday, January 29, 1-3
BRING: If possible, a donation of stamps. No stamps? No problem. Donations are optional. All other materials will be provided.
