See Something! Do Something!

On the birthday of John Lewis, we gather in the spirit of good trouble—the disciplined, nonviolent pursuit of justice rooted in conscience, service, and respect for the rule of law. Hosted by the International Servant Leaders Museum in association with Indivisible Niles Maine Township, this educational program reflects the core principles of servant leadership and a clear commitment to legal rights, constitutional protections, and lawful civic engagement.

The Reverend Dr. Michael Woolf will reflect on his civil rights protest experiences at the Broadview ICE facility, offering firsthand insight into faith-guided, nonviolent action that seeks accountability while honoring due process. This presentation will be followed by an informative presentation by Sanctuary Niles Township about how to protect our communities through local advocacy efforts, mutual aid and worker solidarity. The event will end with an opportunity for informal chats with the speakers, and representatives of several local Indivisible chapters.

Together, this program honors the legacy of John Lewis by translating moral courage into informed action—cultivating servant leaders who uphold human dignity, strengthen community trust, and work within the law to advance justice for all.
