  • Seminary Rd. Overpass Visibility Event

This is a local Indivisible/Visibility Brigade Overpass Visibility Event organized by the Badass Bridge Brigade.

Join us every Monday morning 8-9 am for our weekly message on the Seminary Road bridge over I-495 (Beltway). We estimate that our message is seen by 7,000 cars and trucks! We will not be out if there is heavy rain or lightning and thunder.

Organizers will provide the MAIN MESSAGE for the day that will be hung on the fence first for viewing from the highway. If you wish to add another message for the highway, letters need to be a minimum 2ft in height and bright colored letters on a dark background or they will not be seen far below!

Bring pom poms to attract attention from the interstate commuters; bring flags and signs for Seminary Rd. traffic.

Parking is available in the neighborhood and on Seminary Rd. as it approaches the bridge from the south. Keep in mind that parking is not allowed on the bridge – those with mobility concerns can be dropped off and picked up. The closest metro is the Forest Glen Metro on the Red Line. It is about a 0.7 mile walk. The bridge is also on RideOn Route 5.

    Restrooms are not available.
This is a peaceful, family-friendly event.

*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
