⚖️ Supremely Corrupt: A Court that Supports an Undemocratic President and his Billionaire Backers.
Over the past year, the Supreme Court’s decisions have not just tilted toward Trump, they have slanted their decisions to grant him unitary executive power.
Unsigned emergency orders have let him freeze Department of Education grants, fire NLRB members, gut nationwide injunctions, dismantle federal agencies and fire their workers en masse, kill billions in foreign aid, greenlight racial profiling by ICE, bless a racist Texas gerrymander, and gut the Voting Rights Act.
Then in late June of 2026, the Court struck a run of blows all at once: It stripped Temporary Protected Status from over 350,000 Haitians and thousands of Syrians. It handed Trump control over two dozen regulatory agencies, and it cleared the way for unlimited coordinated spending between political parties and candidates. 🚨
This isn’t a court interpreting law. It’s a political body handing down political outcomes to serve political ends. The checks we were taught to rely on are gone. The only thing left to override the court, is We The People. ✊
🛠️ Reforms worth fighting for:
⏳ 18-year term limits for justices, with a new appointment every two years, so no single president can lock in a court majority for a generation
📜 Binding ethics code with real enforcement — no more undisclosed gifts, trips, or conflicts of interest
➕ Expand the Court to rebalance a bench reshaped by one-party appointments and procedural hardball
🧑⚖️ Restore lower courts’ power to issue nationwide injunctions against unconstitutional executive action
📝 Require written opinions for emergency “shadow docket” rulings, so the public knows the reasoning behind decisions with sweeping consequences
🗳️ Supermajority requirement (e.g., 6-3 or 7-2) to strike down acts of Congress or overturn precedent, so narrow majorities can’t rewrite settled law
