We Will Not Look Away — Community Vigil Jan 24

## We Will Not Look Away — Community Vigil

**Saturday, January 24 • 1:30–2:00 PM**
**Sidewalk outside the Crow Wing County Jail (Laurel Street side)**

Crow Wing County has entered agreements that bring ICE detention into our local jail. These decisions affect immigrant families, community trust, and the role of local institutions in immigration enforcement.

We are gathering for a peaceful, public vigil to stand in solidarity with immigrant neighbors and to bear witness to what is unfolding in our community.

We gather to say that human dignity and community trust must not be treated as negotiable.

This vigil is a space for care, presence, and public accountability. It is peaceful, nonviolent, and rooted in respect for our neighbors and our shared community.

**Following the vigil, we will gather at UCC (415 Juniper Street, Brainerd) to reflect together, share information, and talk about what comes next.**

**PLEASE PARK ONLY IN PUBLIC PARKING.**

You are welcome to join us for the vigil, the gathering afterward, or both.
