Every seat in the U.S. House (435) and 33 seats in the U.S. Senate will be on the mid-term election ballot, along with thousands of state and local offices that determine how federal policies are implemented in states and in our communities.

Tamara will review what’s on the congressional agenda in 2026, highlighting key must‑pass bills, likely partisan showdowns, and opportunities for progress on core democracy and economic and social justice priorities.
The presentation will also include an overview of the 2026 mid-term election calendar, from early primaries taking place in March through the final contests in September, all leading up to the mid-term Election Day on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
Throughout the session, Tamara will connect national trends to what they mean on the ground in states like Illinois and throughout the Midwest and country highlighting primary dates of importance..
