The Whistle Kit Assembly Parties sponsored by Des Moines Indivisible and Seniors for the Constitution have been a huge success. The kits contain a whistle, a small zine with instructions, and a Know Your Rights card. The purpose is to give people a non-violent, legal way to use their voices. If someone sees ICE activity in the neighborhood, blowing the whistle alerts others to be aware, stay safe, and if possible, stay loud and form a crowd.Â
