Local Indivisible groups build and wield power in ways that individuals can’t. To create change, you need the collective constituent power that comes with working together, as Indivisibles.

Indivisibles organize -- which means building power and flexing at key moments. Indivisible Groups take action in their communities, build collective purpose, and create change.

We make calls. We show up. We organize. And we’ve built lasting collective power across the country, in our home towns. We’re Indivisible.

We’re a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.

Washington, DC — Today, Indivisible announced its endorsement of Sri Kulkarni in the race for Texas’s 22nd Congressional District:

“We’re proud to once again endorse Sri Kulkarni. In 2018, he ran a groundbreaking campaign that almost flipped the seat by communicating to communities in 16 different languages and truly engaging voters of colors. This year he is building on that grassroots work from 2018 to finally take back the 22nd district,” Indivisible’s IE political director Lucy Solomon said. “Sri understands that Congress will never work for working families if representatives are beholden to corporate interests. He is once again running a people-powered campaign and refusing corporate PAC donations. We’re thrilled that Sri wants to make democracy reform the top legislative priority in 2021, rooting out the corrupting influence of unlimited money in politics and we’re excited to do all we can to ensure he is the next representative from the 22nd district.”

After a close race in 2018, Indivisibles in Texas’s 22nd Congressional District are more ready than ever to have a strong, Democratic voice in Congress. Sri Kulkarni is the best person for the job. From his deep district roots to his service overseas as a United States Foreign Service Officer, Kulkarni has proven to be a knowledgeable and virtuous leader who will work to better his community and the world. Sri Kulkarni is running a campaign powered by the people that reflects the core values of Indivisible members in the district.

“Since first hearing from Sri in 2018, I’ve been impressed by his intelligence, experience and passion. He has demonstrated a willingness to listen to community members and the courage to speak out strongly in our values—from expanding access to affordable health care to reunifying families separated at the border. Sri will be a strong voice for Texas’s 22nd Congressional District, and he will work to return reason to politics,” said Carol Wheeler, group leader of Indivisible Katy Huddle.

To earn Indivisible’s national endorsement, a candidate must clear a tough three-stage process that requires broad support from local Indivisible group members at multiple points. All endorsed candidates must have a strong progressive platform aligned with our movement’s values and the enthusiastic support of informed energized voters in their district.

Indivisible Katy Huddle is a locally-led progressive grassroots group responsible for nominating Sri Kulkarni for Indivisible Action's national endorsement. The group is led by Carol Wheeler. To learn more about their work, future events, and their endorsement process, please contact:
