  • Lenexa Community Days Parade – March for Democracy, Freedom & Rule of Law

    This a local Indivisible event!

Join us as we march in celebration of American diversity and support of candidates who will defend freedom, preserve democracy, and protect the rule of law.

Our parade group will feature music, the vibrant color of waving U.S. and international flags(we have six American and 8 other international flags, so feel free to use these or bring your own), and participant-made signs. We may also hand out candy and voter information materials to encourage civic participation.

Signs and costumes should reflect the theme of 250 years since the declaration of Independence and celebrating American diversity in defense of freedom, preservation of democracy, and protection of the rule of law. PLEASE KEEP ALL SIGNS AND COSTUMES FREE OF PROFANITY.

Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes for the 2.25 mile parade route, which is mostly flat.
