Republicans are rushing to rip billions of taxpayer dollars away from housing, healthcare, food assistance, veterans services, disaster relief, and senior support programs, all to supercharge Trump’s authoritarian agenda and expand the machinery of fear, surveillance, and mass deportation.
Meanwhile working families, seniors, disabled residents, artists, service workers, and the people who actually hold communities together are being told there’s “no money” for stability, dignity, or survival.
We reject that lie.
Join us for a peaceful, community-led action to demand that Congress fund people instead of political cruelty. Fund housing instead of fear. Fund healthcare instead of detention camps. Fund communities instead of chaos.
Our elected officials need to feel direct public pressure from the people they represent. We will gather in public witness to expose the local consequences of these policies: rising homelessness, economic displacement, attacks on immigrants, intimidation of vulnerable communities, and the ongoing abandonment of working people and seniors.
This action is grounded in nonviolence, collective care, and lawful public protest. We expect participants to help de-escalate conflict and protect the safety of everyone present.
No weapons of any kind should be brought to this event, including legally permitted weapons.
Bring your signs. Bring your neighbors. Bring your moral outrage and your hope for something better.
We still believe communities are worth fighting for.
