– Give you tips and sample letters for communicating with your schools.
– Provide information on the alumni resistance groups that have been formed.
– Connect you with the resources for starting an alumni resistance group if your school doesn’t have one.
– Talk about other ways to get involved.
From day one of the current administration, the attacks on and threats to U.S. colleges and universities have been relentless. More than $10 billion in federal funding for medical, socio-economic, environmental and other research has been frozen, DEI programs have been dismantled, and international student populations have been reduced. ICE has arrested and detained students for exercising free speech and immigration crackdowns. The government wants to control admissions, hiring, and curriculum.
