Purpose
Legislative Lookout is a monthly civic action meeting where participants track key bills, local issues, and public policy developments, then identify realistic action steps the group can take together.
The goal is not to follow everything. The goal is to help people stay informed, understand what is happening, and know when and how to speak up.
Meeting Goals
Each month, we will:
• Review a small number of priority bills or issues
• Learn where each issue stands
• Discuss why it matters
• Identify upcoming votes, meetings, or public comment opportunities
• Decide on one or two practical action steps
• Build confidence in following legislation over time
