There is a pressing need for medical evacuations for people in Gaza injured in the bombing or who just need medical care that is no longer available with the destruction of health infrastructure.
Of course there are larger political issues. But pressing specifically for medical evacuations will help heartsick families, save lives and bring the insanity of the current situation directly into congressional offices.
This is a planning meeting to bring up these specific cases to congressional staffers to ask for pressure to allow medical evacs. In particular there is a young girl who is known to us who urgently needs an evacuation. So we just need to do it.
