On June 27, Indivisible Ojai Valley and Ojai Resist will join the nationwide movement with 50501 (Fifty States, Fifty Protests, One Day) and All of US 250 as communities across the country come together to honor the full story of America.
As we mark America’s 250th anniversary, we’re celebrating more than red, white, and blue. We’re recognizing the people whose stories have too often been overlooked or erased—the Indigenous peoples who were here first, the enslaved Black Americans and generations of immigrants whose labor, resilience, and dreams helped build this nation.
This day is about truth, remembrance, and solidarity. It’s about protecting our history from being rewritten and affirming that America belongs to all of us.
