  • Indivisible San Mateo: Saturday, July 4th – Music, Guest Speakers, Fun!

Indivisible San Mateo’s celebration of America’s 250th year of independence from the tyranny of England’s mad king, is going to be fun and inspiring.

It all starts at 1 p.m. We’ll exercise our First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and assembly at 31st and El Camino. We’ll sing to the music of The Freedom Strummers, listen to the inspiring words of our guest speakers, enjoy the spectacle of the patriotic car cavalade driving by with their honks of solidarity, be in community celebrating America’s Independence Day and feel the camaraderie of fellow resisters opposing the fascists, all the while snacking on wholesome Americana treats like Cracker Jack’s and other goodies.

We hope you can join us! It’s going to be fun! And inspiring too!

*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
