“America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We The People.’ ‘We Shall Overcome.’ ‘Yes We Can.’ That word is owned by no one. It belongs to everyone. Oh, what a glorious task we are given to continually try to improve this great nation of ours.”
    — Etched into the exterior of the Obama Presidential Center, Chicago

“We” is both a historical and aspirational rallying point — a reminder that democracy thrives when people unite across differences to work toward common goals. And to achieve these goals, “We” must speak up! We must vote!

    🕙 WHEN: Saturday, June 27th | 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
📍 WHERE: Vacaville City Hall (front sidewalk)

Please join us for a Peaceful Protest as we stand shoulder to shoulder and remind each other why we fight — for inclusivity, dignity, hope, decency, and love for all.

Each rally reminds us of who we can be and what we can do — together.

    ✊ RALLY GUIDELINES:
    • All rallies are peaceful and non-violent.
    • Do not engage with agitators. Don’t take the bait.
    • Stay on the sidewalk — the sidewalk is our stage. Do not jaywalk.
    • Wear sunscreen and a hat; bring a camp chair if needed.
    • Bring your creative signs, flags, and your spirited voice!

Invite your friends, family, neighbors — share by email, text, and phone.

We win with dignity. We win with unity. We win when we protect our democracy.

The power to shape our future isn’t in the hands of politicians — it’s in yours.

    We the People Matters!

*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
