Join Us Tomorrow at 3:00 PM ET!
Every Thursday, Indivisible co-founders Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg host a participatory conversation on the week’s news, the state of our democracy, and our plan to defeat the authoritarian threats we face.
Join the Badass Bridge Brigade, Good Trouble MoCo, and Indivisible for our weekly message on Seminary Road bridge over 495.
Bring your signs and flags*Â Organizers will have the MAIN MESSAGE for the day that will be hung on the fence first for viewing from the highway. If you wish to add a sign for the highway, for best visibility, letters need to be a minimum 2ft in height and bright colored letters on a dark background.
Bring flags, signs, and pom poms. For passing cars on the bridge – for greatest impact – keep sign messages short and clearly printed.
*If you hang a sign for the highway, you must stay with your sign and take it down at the end of the event.
MEET AT:Â Seminary Bridge overpass for a banner drop and sign wave from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, weather permitting. We will not be out if there is heavy rain, snowy sleet, or lightning and thunder.
TRANSPORATION/PARKING: Parking is available in the neighborhood. Keep in mind that parking is not allowed on the bridge – those with mobility concerns can be dropped off and picked up. Closest metro is the Forest Glen Metro on the Red Line. It is about a 0.7 mile walk. It is also on RideOn Route 5.
RESTROOMS:Â Are not available.
This is a peaceful, family friendly event.
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
