Our August meeting will explore how to engage more deeply in our democracy! We will first hear from Alice Sui, Associate Director of the Stanford Deliberative Democracy Lab, which works on alternative approaches to the democratic process in order to solve issues in our society.
Then, Isabel Gomez (a member of SwingLeft Tri-Valley and Indivisible Tri-Valley) will talk about her experiences canvassing voters in the Central Valley and how you can get involved.
