  • Save our Democracy – Vacaville

Our democracy is in danger. This administration is dismantling it before our eyes, and corruption is eroding trust in our institutions. We won’t let it die on our watch.

This is part of a nationwide Day of Action & Accountability, held in memory of Joan Sebastian Guerrero and Lorenzo Salgado Araujo — two good men who were simply on their way to work. We rally for justice and accountability for both of them, and for everyone who cannot speak up for themselves.
This a local Indivisible Vacaville event!

Every person who shows up on Saturday sends an unmistakable message to our elected officials and to those in power. We see what is happening. We will not look away. We will not be silent.

Bring your creative sign, flag, and friends. Wear a hat and sunscreen & water, stay hydrated. A camp chair if needed. Your fully charged phone to record history in the making. And your unstoppable energy and joyful spirit.

A few golden rules: Stay peaceful – always. Don’t engage with agitators, don’t take the bait! Stay on the sidewalk, don’t jaywalk – the sidewalk is our stage.

Every neighbor, friend, or family member you bring multiply the power of your voice. Your presence matters. Your voice matters. Democracy is not a spectator sport.

*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
