Now that the primary election has passed, it’s time for us to act to ensure the right candidates are elected and that everyone votes. We need to work together for the November 3rd election to secure the results we need to protect our democracy.
At our next general meeting on August 15, Indivisible Santa Maria has invited Christian Alonso, Chair of the Santa Barbara County Democratic Party, to discuss how the local Democratic Party is preparing for the November election. There will be plenty of time to have your questions answered and to hear about what Indivisible Santa Maria is planning.
In addition, we will have a representative from Colectivo Mariposa to discuss their work supporting the local immigrant population and how Indivisible Santa Maria supports that work.
The meeting will be held on August 15, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 4380 Orcutt Road. We hope you will join us as we prepare to take action for the November 3rd election.
