The next No Kings Day is coming
The next No Kings Day will be different. Join the No Kings kickoff call this Thursday, 9/10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT to learn about the national day of voter participation being planned for this October.
In September, IPA+ will hold its monthly gathering in a new location—the Democratic Volunteer Center (DVC) in Mountain View. As we head into the peak of the midterm election season, we are highlighting opportunities for members of our community to **make an impact on critical races that will help determine the future of our democracy**.
Here’s the working agenda (subject to change):
– Updates on IPA+ events, actions, and opportunities
– Reports from IPA+ action teams
– Participation in a DVC phone bank for Senate candidates
You’ll join other IPA+ members in hitting the phones to **connect with voters**. DVC will provide training, scripts, and computers to use for placing calls. _If you have never phone-banked before, don’t worry!_ Experienced phone bankers will be on hand to help you out.
And if phone banking isn’t your preferred way to volunteer, you can participate in other campaign activities, such as writing postcards to voters.
Whether you’re a first-time caller or a seasoned organizer, _you’ll leave this meeting with new connections, fresh skills, and the satisfaction of taking direct action to defend democracy!_
