Studies have shown that door-to-door, direct canvassing is the most impactful form of voter contact. Canvassing is as much as five times more effective than other forms of voter outreach, according to Democratic data.
However, the idea of knocking on a stranger’s door and initiating a conversation is, for many of us, terrifying. Or we might believe we’re just “not the type” to be good at canvassing.
This online one-hour training is led by two highly experienced and successful canvassers, currently involved in the Rebecca Bennett for Congress campaign in NJ’s 7th congressional district. They will provide concrete facts and tips that will demystify their success and give you the tools you need to confidently join the canvassing team!
