Every Thursday, Indivisible co-founders Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg host a participatory conversation on the week’s news, the state of our democracy, and our plan to defeat the authoritarian threats we face.
We are now in general election season, working to win and protect the midterms!
We’ll cover multiple areas- voter outreach to help people plan to vote, promotion of early voting, training as poll watchers, connecting with campaigns, and finding opportunities to help people in other states. And (last but not least) planning for our next No Kings event. This scheduled action will be focused explicitly on recruiting for election protection and laying the groundwork for rapid response mobilizations after November 3rd.
I’ve been looking a lot at what’s coming out of Indivisible National, and I have two takeaways. First, that Indivisible is not acting alone, but as part of a coalition. Second, that the size and scope of what this coalition is doing is far beyond what I expected. There really are more of us than there are of the crazies. And, importantly, we are getting into action. This is encouragement we all need.
