National electoral program to mobilize Indivisible groups in competitive Senate and House races across the country
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Last night, Indivisible Action announced the launch of its 2026 General Election Program on a call with over 11,000 grassroots leaders across the country. Indivisible’s 2026 General Election Program is a national electoral effort to mobilize Indivisible groups across the country, support competitive races and help elect a Democratic majority in Congress that will deliver an accountability and affordability agenda in 2027.
The program will focus on offensive opportunities in competitive Senate and House races with particular emphasis on red-to-blue opportunities and races where strong local Indivisible groups are positioned to mobilize voters and volunteers.
Indivisible’s electoral program will work toward three central goals: flipping the Senate, winning a strong Democratic majority in the House, and building the grassroots capacity needed to ensure that a Democratic victory translates into aggressive congressional action on accountability, affordability and fighting corruption.
“Winning back Congress is just the beginning. This election is about more than checking Trump. This is about electing a Congress that understands the scale of the mandate voters are giving them,” said Ezra Levin, co-founder and co-executive director of Indivisible. “We need Democrats who are prepared to fight relentlessly to make life more affordable, hold Trump and his enablers accountable, and stand up to the corporate and authoritarian forces trying to rig the rules in their favor. Indivisible groups across the country have spent this year building the power and organizing muscle to meet this moment, and we’re going to put that power to work in the races where we can make the biggest difference.”
The General Election Program will build on Indivisible’s primary organizing work, where groups across the country have endorsed candidates, organized around better representation, and expanded their grassroots capacity. Through national voter contact, volunteer mobilization, and targeted electoral investments, the program will create additional opportunities for Indivisible members to take action in competitive races while strengthening the broader Indivisible network.
The program will prioritize competitive Senate races in North Carolina, Maine, Iowa, Ohio, Texas, Florida and Alaska, while also supporting Democratic retention efforts in Georgia and Michigan and evaluating additional opportunities, including stretch targets. In the House, Indivisible will focus on flippable districts across the country where there is both a viable path to victory and strong local group infrastructure.
Indivisible will deploy its grassroots network through targeted voter contact, alongside additional group mobilization and potential independent expenditure investments in the highest-priority races.
The program represents the next phase of Indivisible’s broader electoral strategy: not simply winning a majority, but building the grassroots power and political mandate necessary for a Democratic Congress to deliver meaningful accountability and affordability in 2027.
