Postcarding & Conversation with Jennifer “J.J.” Dominguez

Join us starting at 9:30am ET to write postcards, talk about the news, and hear from candidates and political leaders. If this is your first time joining this group, please sign on at least 15 minutes before the speaker start time listed below.

**Jennifer “J.J.” Dominguez will join us on Friday September 11th, at 10:00am ET.** Dominguez is running for TX HD 31. She has lived in the district for over 21 years, is a mental
health therapist for asylum seekers, and has had her own mental health private practice. JJ got her start in local
politics after realizing there was a lack of Democratic leadership in her home county, leading her to run for the
Wilson County Democratic Party chair in 2022, which she won in a landslide. JJ has been endorsed by the AFL-CIO, Annie’s List, and Stonewall Democrats. Her platform includes protecting
reproductive rights, repealing private school vouchers, free statewide mental health services, raising the
minimum wage, better roads, water systems, and internet access for rural communities, and stopping the
expansion of the border wall.
