The next No Kings Day is coming
The next No Kings Day will be different. Join the No Kings kickoff call this Thursday, 9/10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT to learn about the national day of voter participation being planned for this October.
Join Indivisible St. Peter/Greater Mankato on Mon., Sept. 14, 7:00-8:30pm (St. Peter, Tremendous Brewing Co. – 227 W. Mulberry.) for an opportunity to meet the local candidates running in the November election. Learn more about who they are, why they’re running, and what they hope to accomplish. This is a chance to have nuanced conversations about where candidates might stand on the issues that matter to you.
7:00-8:00 Candidates will introduce themselves briefly and have informal conversations with attendees.
8:00-8:30 Community members will debrief with the group as we consider endorsements.
Here are the races up for possible endorsement:
– Mankato School Board – (4 candidates for 3 spots)
– Mankato City Council (Ward 3 & Ward 5 – 2 candidates for 1 spot)
– Blue Earth County Commissioner – District 3 (3 candidates for 1 spot)
– North Mankato Mayor (2 candidates for 1 spot)
– North Mankato City Council (8 candidates for 2 spots)
– Nicollet County Sheriff (2 candidates for 1 spot)
