To name just a very few recent ones: The UN says we are blowing past 1.5 degrees as heat waves destroy crops and threaten lives. The fifth circuit court of appeals said that there is no constitutional right to clean and safe drinking water. The Trump administration wants to end the roadless rules in our national forest even as their own environmental impact statement says that this a terrible idea. The Oregon Treasury invests our PERS money in a variety of fossil fuel projects. And on and on…
