The next No Kings Day is coming
The next No Kings Day will be different. Join the No Kings kickoff call this Thursday, 9/10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT to learn about the national day of voter participation being planned for this October.
Do something! Buy extra when you shop and help neighbors in need.
We are collecting groceries and hygiene items to donate to Integrated Family and Community Services (IFCS), a local food pantry that has partnered with the community to alleviate hunger since 1964.
Consider donating items that cannot be purchased with SNAP (the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly called food stamps), such as toiletries, feminine hygiene items, and diapers. Most SNAP recipients collect benefits for a short period of time, ranging from 1 month to 3 years as they navigate tough times.
Not sure what to donate? Protein is an important part of a healthy diet. Top ten items requested: 1. Pasta 2. Rice 3. Canned beans 4. Canned tomatoes 5. Mac and Cheese 6. Canned tuna/meat 7. Cereal 8. Peanut Butter 9. Jelly 10. Ramen.
Please don’t donate anything you wouldn’t offer as a gift to a neighbor, as these ARE our neighbors! IFCS welcomes any unopened grocery item with an expiration date of 2025 or later.
Thank you for caring!
This a local Indivisible event. Littleton Indivisible of Colorado sponsors this food drive in collaboration with HD38 Democrats
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
