The next No Kings Day is coming
The next No Kings Day will be different. Join the No Kings kickoff call this Thursday, 9/10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT to learn about the national day of voter participation being planned for this October.

As we populate 5 bridges within a 1.5 mile stretch along I-75 between Eight (8) Mile & Nine ½ (9.5) Mile Roads. All bridges are easily accessible with parking nearby (some details below). Harry St is the tallest bridge with 5 walk-up ramps (others are all 4).

Our Messages can reach anywhere from 5,000 – 6,000 cars an hour. (50 cars/minute = 50 x 60 minutes = 3,000 x 2 sides north & south = 6,000). Come join us for an hour or a ½ hour, whatever you can. Exercise your arm as you exercise your freedom of speech right and wave at passing cars. Bring signs to hang or flags to wave/hang…Canadian flags, Veteran’s flags, Ukrainian flags, Pride flags, etc. If you can’t bring/make anything, know that YOU and YOUR PRESENCE are what’s important.

**Bridge 2** – Harry St – This is the highest bridge. GPS – Northbound *1001 E. Harry Ave, 48030*. United Oaks Elementary School. Street Parking. (GPS: 42.45669838679273, -83.0946655418343}
**Bridge 3** – Highland St – GPS – Southbound near Tabernacle Baptist Church* 22323 S. Chrysler Dr, 48030*. Street Parking. Might be able to park in Church lot. 11/4 miles. (GPS: 42.4580849417477, -83.10140190321641)
**Bridge 4** – Orchard St – Street Parking both sides on I-75. GPS – East of I-75 use Hazelcrest Place Apartments, *100 Hazelcrest Pl, 48030*. To park near the wall at these apartments, enter by Orchard Street off of John R. West – Parking is allowed on the street on the West side of I-75. We are not recommending you park in the church lot. **Bridge 5** – Browning St – Near Roosevelt Invest School. GPS – West of I-75 use *24131 S Chrysler Dr, 48030*. Can use school lot if school is out. Street Parking also, both sides of I-75. (GPS: 42.4702020519217, -83.11081209157966)

If you are able to make letters or provide any materials, please let us know. Letters need to be at a minimum, 24” high, the taller/bigger the better. You will also need bungees, carabiners, and possibly grommets and zip ties if you make your own letters or signs. Big hands on noodles, bubbles, music, etc. I have guides/lists to send to anyone separately if you are interested in making your own letters, banners, or for supplies. Just let me know.
NOTE: WE HAVE 5 OF THE WORD “VOTE” – 2 VINYL, 3 IN LETTERS. WE ALSO CAN HELP WITH LETTERS FOR THE PHRASES. WE JUST NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU CAN MAKE AND WHAT YOU MAY NEED. WE ARE MAKING 5 “WAVES” AND MIGHT MAKE MORE. We also have 3 Vet flags.

PLEASE LEAVE THE CENTER OF THE BRIDGE OPEN so pedestrians and bicyclists can pass through.
Please keep it civil. No swear words or hand gestures even though you will get some from the cars.
IMPORTANT: In the unlikely event that disrupters approach you, do not engage in any way, just walk away and notify another member to pull out their phone & film. We want to keep this a safe and peaceful event for everyone.
