We are all Jane Doe!
Join us as we gather to raise awareness as we prepare for the mid-term elections. We will stand in solidarity for survivors of sexual violence, including Jane Doe at Cornell University, Kendall Francis at Louisiana State University, Epstein survivors, and every person whose experience has been dismissed.Â
You don’t have to be a woman to experience sexual violence. We can all fight for changes.
THIS FIGHT IS FOR EVERYONE!
Too often, survivors are asked to carry the burden of proving what happened to them while institutions, universities, systems, and people in positions of power fail to protect them or hold perpetrators accountable.
We’re calling for systemic change and calling on institutions — from the frat house to the White House and beyond — to stop protecting abusers and their reputations at the expense of our safety.
This is a peaceful public demonstration. Participants will stay on the public sidewalk and keep pedestrian access clear.
Bring a sign, bring water, bring a friend, or simply show up.Â
This a local Indivisible event!
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
