Come to this kick-off/training to learn about the Mobilize the Vote process and how you can get our voters to turn out.
We are calling and texting the voters we registered in the Cleveland area (thousands) to help them with their specific voting plan and make sure they have what is necessary to vote asap. This is your opportunity to have a direct impact on voter turnout for this election.
At the kickoff, you will receive your list of voters to adopt, in batches of 20. Phone calls/texts will be made from your own phone (not an auto-dialer) and can be started during the hour and continued in your own time over the next several days. You will support your list of voters until their vote is counted.
You will learn how to talk to voters, get them to vote down ballot and use a provided script as your guide. You will also learn how to follow your voter’s ballot for Absentee ballots and what to do if a ballot never showed up.
