[PLEASE REPLACE THE TEXT BELOW WITH YOUR SPECIFIC EVENT DETAILS BUT LEAVE THE NON-VIOLENCE CLAUSE IN THE DESCRIPTION – THANK YOU]
This a local Indivisible event!
“Candles for Democracy” is an event supporting our Democracy and human rights here and abroad…has been taking place once a month for over a year and a half. Join in with an award winning singer/songwriter as he leads us in protest songs from the 60s and 70s. Bring an LED candle if possible.
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
