We’ll be NEAR the Happy Valley Library Vote Center to encourage people to get replacement ballots if they need them and get their ballots TURNED IN BY 8PM TONIGHT!
BRING YOUR COW BELLS! Every time a ballot is put in the drop box, let’s ring the bells so oncoming traffic knows someone else voted and maybe it’ll remind them they need to drop a ballot in the drop box too! Let’s make some noise! Every vote matters.
WHY:
Voting in numbers too big to ignore will discourage those that want to deny our (WE THE PEOPLEs) voices. We also need to encourage every eligible voter to sign up for TRACK YOUR BALLOT so they can cure their ballots if their signatures don’t match.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
