In Illinois, Community Solar programs are an easy way to sign up

Art Spooner is a climate coach with Oak Park Climate Action Network (OPCAN). 

He and his wife enrolled in a community solar program on Earth Day 2020, when they lived in a single-family house. 

About a year later, they moved to a condo building, and their community solar account moved right along with them. 

Art has worked with condominium boards and local congregations on community solar and other energy-saving projects. 

And Art has advocated with local governments and state legislators on behalf of community solar.
