Jill L. from Progressive Schenectady will go over what to expect from different types of lobby days, from big rallies on the steps to small group meetings with representatives. Our other presenter, Steve G. of Troy DSA, works for Assembly. He’ll explain the internal dynamics of the Assembly, what issues our local elected officials care about, and how we can convince them on our issues.
Everyone has an issue they care about, so this will not focus on any particular piece of legislation. We aim to explain the overall dynamics so you can use your voice most effectively to lobby our representatives on the issues that matter to you. We’ll see you there!
