Champaign County Indivisible Book Club

Champaign County Indivisible invites you to join the members of their virtual book club in a “short course on electioneering” as a part of our effort to more concretely influence the outcomes of the various primary elections happening in 2026. Our discussions typically last around an hour or so.

In December, we’re reading [*Politics is for Power*](https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/Politics-Is-for-Power/Eitan-Hersh/9781982116798) by Eitan Hersh, with an eye on how to make our organizing more effective in concrete terms.

January’s title is [*It’s Time to Fight Dirty*](https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/564969/its-time-to-fight-dirty-by-david-faris/) by David Faris, with a particular focus on what concrete policy aims we want a revitalized anti-authoritarian party to use their power to enact.

February’s book is tentatively [*Election Meltdown*](https://yalebooks.yale.edu/book/9780300248197/election-meltdown/) by UCLA Law Prof. Richard Hasen, as a set of lessons in actions we can take, or encourage our local election officials to take, to ensure that all the elections in 2026 are free and fair.
