  • FLIP THE 6TH! Help grow our voter base!!

Join local Indivisible organization Progress Kentucky and Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance the first Monday of every month between now and November as we connect with possible 6th district voters!

For the first time in decades, the 6th district is an open seat and winnable. Join us as we start reaching out to build relationships with the most important voters (and without us, likely non-voters) in key precincts across the district.

We are building relationships with voters who care about issues but often skip elections. We lead with what matters to neighbors, not party labels.

Progress Kentucky will not be endorsing a candidate in advance of the primary, but we want this community to be familiar with the four candidates. As such, we’re inviting each D candidate to take 5 minutes to address our group. Here’s the calendar for those short presentations:

    -Jan. 5th – Erin Petrey

    -Feb. 2nd – David Kloiber

    -Mar. 2nd – Cherlynn Stevenson

-April 6th – Zach Dembo (likely)

Join our monthly volunteer nights to build organizing skills and be part of a movement for a better Kentucky. We’ll be writing personal notes on postcards going to these voters, asking for their feedback on how the economy and the political system is treating them and responding to their needs.

As the Trump MAGA regime works to gerrymander election maps across the country, desperate to hold onto their slim majority in the House of Representatives, the Kentucky 6th district becomes even more important. Join us in our long-term campaign to shift the electorate to win this critical seat!

*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
