“Unload & Unwind” is a low-pressure, conversational space for community members and local candidates to connect as real people. No stiff podiums, no formal debate clocks, and no rehearsed stump speeches.
We’re inviting local candidates to join our circle, share what’s on their minds, and honestly vent about the grueling campaign trail if they need to. For community members, it’s a rare chance to get to know the folks on your ballot outside of a high-stress town hall environment.
Come for the community, stay for the real talk, and leave the political pressure at the door.
### What to expect:
– **A Casual Circle:** A relaxed, roundtable-style layout where everyone is on the same level.
– **Real Conversations:** Time for candidates to unwind and share their perspectives, followed by casual, open-ended mixing and mingling.
– **A Safe Space:** This is a supportive environment focused on empathy, civic connection, and humanizing the people who step up to run for office.
Come as you are. Cameras on or off, pajamas or your evening gown, whatever helps you recharge. Let’s clear out the noise so we can stay in the fight for the long haul.
