    Dr. Jasmine Clark

    Endorsed by Indivisible

Dr. Jasmine Clark is a mom, microbiologist, and college professor who felt compelled to run for the Georgia legislature following Trump’s first election, citing the need to defend science and fight misinformation.

She began her political career in 2018, winning a district that had been in GOP hands for over two decades. She’s become a leading voice for science in Georgia politics, fighting for abortion rights, voting rights, and equity in healthcare access and education.

Clark has a long record of standing up to Republicans, including calling out Gov. Brian Kemp for fabricating public health statistics at the beginning of the COVID pandemic, and fought efforts by the Georgia School Superintendent to defund AP African American history courses. Her campaign also uncovered the fact that 80-year-old incumbent Rep. David Scott has failed to vote in the last seven elections in Georgia, including the 2024 Presidential election.

Indivisible Gwinnett, Intown Women’s Resistance, and Necessary Trouble Georgia have all endorsed Jasmine Clark because, in the battle against fascism, we need leaders like her. We’re proud to stand with Georgia Indivisibles to support Clark in her run to be the next Representative for Georgia’s 13th district.
