No Kings March Across Memorial Bridge to DC
March 28, 2026 at 10 am ET
Join Third Act DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) and friends as we march across the Memorial Bridge to Washington., DC, past the Lincoln Memorial and on to the Washington Monument. We march in defense of American democracy, the rule of law, and a healthy planet –affirming that our nation belongs to its people, not to kings.
Getting There: Take the Blue Line to Arlington Cemetery, allowing 15 minutes to walk to Memorial Circle. If you are coming by car you can park at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City and take the metro two stops to Arlington Cemetery. There is no public parking in the immediate area but you can be dropped off at the circle.
What to Bring: Bring a friend, a full water bottle and sunscreen. For those without signs, there will be banners, signs and umbrellas to carry. Also welcome: homemade signs, American flags, drums, cowbells and other noise makers!
How You Can Help: To keep everybody safe we will have safety marshals, trained de-escalators, and first aid providers. To make it colorful and fun, we have an art team, song and chant leads, and a drum corps. When you register you will receive a confirmation email that includes a link to a volunteer sign-up sheet.
What to Expect: At least 1,500 people took part in the first Memorial Bridge March for No Kings 2 on October 18, 2025. Our movement to save American democracy is growing. We hope to have at least 4,000 people march with us on March 28. At the end of the march, you can walk to a rally downtown or catch Metro to a local event elsewhere in the DMV.
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
